Lion Leader Resources

General Information

  1. As the Lion Den is brand new and leaders generally do not have experience in Leading the Den, we tend to support them prior to the first meeting so that they can lead the Den. We also recommend one of the Assistant / Den Leader from another den support them on the first couple of meetings.
  2. Lion Den Leader should try and engage the scouts with engaging activities so that they remain interested.
  3. Lion scouts need not purchase the Full uniform if they are not sure, however a Lion Shirt / Hat is recommended to be purchased in addition to the Class B shirt. It would be prudent to discuss with the Tiger Den leader parents for hand me downs for shirts and Lion hats to save money
